That's 22% unmatched PhDs over 5 years. Compared to 325/975 unmatched non-PhDs = 33%. PhD helps but not that much. Although if you screen through the programs, PhDs tend to end up at upper-tier programs, so there's some truth that mid and lower-tier programs probably aren't even considering us. |
