I don't see why programs will issue second round waves of interviews until those that filled the first rounds start cancelling. This will start happening once you get the more desirable / higher ranked programs sending invites and people w/ many interviews in their pocket start cancelling low-tier for high-tier.
going along with this, I'm assuming that 2nd waves will come from lower-tier schools with many cancellations? Do any come from the big names?

Guys, royal fuck up on applying. For some reason the top 5 of my choices that I was gonna apply to... I didn't. IDK what happened when I was selecting all the programs when applying on the 14th, I apparently unselected those 5 and applied to everything else. I never really checked the list to make sure they were all on there, just assumed they would be since the list was long (65programs). FUCK ME. Well... I just applied to them. I really just shot myself in the foot.
