If you are planning travel or something else in advance, plan to need to start as early as jun 15. Not every program starts jul 1, and most programs have some sort of hospital-wide onboarding that you'll need to do before starting

Our orientation was in the last 7-10 days of June. July 1 we were officially on-duty in the hospital.
