Doesn’t take long for a 7 month old to bleed out, could easily happen from a scalp incision in the hands of a clueless surgeon. Might have been an occipital sinus on a p fossa case. For what it’s worth I’ve seen hydrogen peroxide used for hemostasis before.

I haven't asked Pucc about this, but he's a weird dude to begin with. My understanding is that this is all a political power play. Anyway, fuck Omaha.

We used hydrogen peroxide soaked cotton balls on every IPH, tough bleeding tumor, and nearly every trauma in adults and kids. Is that not a thing? It works as a non-first line option.

Hydrogen Peroxide is really effective as a hemostatic agent, but the bubbles can translocate into vessels and cause stroke. I would use with extreme caution, unless in a life threatening bleeding situation or extradurally.

But definitely need to follow all precautions, certainly now one wants to cause stroke in patients.
