Probably because they realized they were not good neurosurgery applicants. This comment had nothing to do with buffalo. But if some snowflake wants to be a neurosurgeon because they watched grays anatomy or read Ben Carson’s book they usually don’t last through the application process. Who would change their life goals because of a rotation?

Safe to say you are wrong on both of those statements. Again, I have nothing to do with Buffalo. Yet, my point still stands; I don’t think it is reasonable to make a statement about a program based on the thoughts but if someone’s that doesn’t want to do neurosurgery.
I’m sure you will have some clever message board response that doesn’t add anything of substance. Regardless, I will leave it to others to offer comments good or bad on programs.
