I'd beg to differ research is weak at Vandy, especially with the addition of Englot who's one of the better junior faculty in the country. Clinical experience and autonomy (all jokes aside) is better at UT. Boop is a better letter writer and is more renown than Thompson. Thompson is notorious for 2-3 sentence rec letters like all Hopkins grads are. Idk Lola Chambless, but she seems to have a presence among the younger neurosurgeons and on social media.
