Most of you have done your psych rotation, so think of this OP as a severely disturbed individual who is screaming for help. So, please, instead of hammering at the OP, please give him constructive advice and diagnosis to hep him get his life back on track. That's what medicine is all about after all.

You can't make a diagnosis without a formal assessment.  While the OP may appear to be bitter about something that happened, in itself, that is not pathological.

Interesting argument. However, if the OP's bitterness causes him to implicate and make multiple innocent bystanders the targets of his rage, mix in sexism, speculation and falsehoods, then would that not point to a pattern of behavior that borders on pathological? Note that after being rebutted and his post erased, the OP re posted his claims and kept on defending his stance. Therefore his lashing out was not a one time episode of rage and loss of control.

They were obviously being facetious. Don't be so literal.  No, we shouldn't diagnose op. However let's recognize how cowardly op actually is and not take the bait. He dropped the drama and then left. He's trying to get everyone upset. That's it. He needs to get over the fact that things aren't like back in his old man days. Women are allowed in nsg. Gasp!

Sometimes a little satire goes a long way to push back against cyber bullies. In the event that you thought these comments were an official session vs a commentary, I feel sorry for you. In the event that you did not comprehend the content of the source that you have referenced,  it pertains to subjects who are in the public eye, known to thousands or even millions and who have publicly divulged information about themselves.  It does not relate to people who identify and slander others in a forum while hiding behind an anonymous alias.

No. The rule goes for diagnosing anyone without a formal assessment. In the event you don't understand this, go back to NP school and ask your nurse educators for clarification.

I think we all need to take a step back, breathe, and start talking about more important things like Step 1 and Step 2. Particularly Step 1. That's what dictates if and where you go.

Triggered much?  Sometimes people out there don't agree with you.  Others are mean spirited assholes.  Deal with it and shut the fuck up.
