Baylor is a shit show. They have the name but no substance in their program. UT Houston and Methodist absorb 70-80% of Houston’s volume. Also UT Houston has the one and only Level 1 Trauma Center in the city.

Only 1 level 1 trauma center is Houston? Thats not even close to true... Ben Taub is literally adjacent to UT Houston and is also a level 1 trauma center. Besides, Houston is one of the largest cities (3rd?) in the country, to suggest there is only 1 level 1 trauma center is dumb.

There seems to be a lot of interest in Houston. There are strengths to all of them. It's not an either/or situation, UT Houston can be a good place without making Baylor worse and vise/versa...
