Can we generate a top-5 list of surgeons for the various fields? Tumor, vascular (open, endo, combined), functional (epilepsy, pain, neuromodulation), spine (degenerative, scoli, spine-onc), pedi, peripheral nerve, trauma, research. Would love to hear the discussion.
Top 5 in what? Publishing? Reputation? Case volume?

Good list. Some might be older, have moved on or decreased their practice, but each name would have made a top 5 list at one point of their career.
