So Nick Barbaro joined Ascension and Timmons replaced him at Indiana. That program had potential but didn't last

They will bounce back. They have the infrastructure with the massive new neuroscience building and between the 3 hospitals having around 10 dedicated nsg ORs (not including the Children's hospital). It's a solid academic job with really nice facilities in a nice, cheap city to live in, i'm sure they'll be able to attract some young talent over the next decade. And if they're able to set up a more community, private practice rotation with goodman campbell that's a solid program.
