Applicant here. Just sat in on a virtual recruitment for UCSD with their residents. Was very interesting. One resident spoke the whole time and bragged that their pediatric attending never ever scrubs into very complex less cases.

Also, the session was very clearly for applicants and residents (not faculty). Just like faculty aren’t supposed to join applicant and resident Dinner etc.

However; a junior UCSD Neurosurgery attending joined the session and never introduced himself.

I saw online they have an acgme Sure visit this month for violations...

Stanford any good with Lim? Honestly thought that Steinberg is/was one of the nicest and down to earth people in neurosurgery as well.
