Skull Base Fellowships
#1
What are considered good skull base fellowships, in terms of research vs clinical? I’m asking about skull base tumor and cerebrovascular programs. For example, Cornell’s seem like observerships.

Here's a short list of the most sought after fellowships, by no means comprehensive:

Skull base tumor fellowships: Prevedello at OSU, Juan Fernandez-Miranda now at Stanford, Evans at Jeff, MD Anderson, Laws at B&W

"Skull base" cerebrovascular aka open vascular: Lawton obviously

Skull base with mixed vascular/tumor experience: Morcos at Miami, Cohen-Gadol at IU

Also must include Pittsburgh and Pacific Neuroscience (Dan Kelly) when it comes to endoscopic.

Couldwell at Utah is highly respected.

Mayo Clinic.

Van Loveren, Sekhar, and Al-Mefty are giants, but unsure if they are still operating at a high volume.

Probably many other places would also offer a great experience.
