Penn vs Duke

Can anyone compare these two programs? Know they’ve both had leadership changes in recently.

Lot of attending movement at both places. However, their new chairs are solid. Both have amazing research opportunities and collaborations associated with their university resources but have only above-average clinical training at best.

Compared to other residencies, both programs are relatively cush. Comes down to your subspecialty of interest and location. If you want to invest in a house, have or planning for children during residency, hate winters, and/or want to do tumor, Duke is a better fit.

Thank you! Would you say the surgical training/ operative experience is similar at both places? I’m undecided as to subspecialty interest.
