Peds Match 2021
#11
As far as doing peds deformity from a spine fellowship route instead of a peds fellowship route is there a pathway for this? Seems like peds deformity is a tough game to get into from a neurosurgery background in general compared to the ortho side of things.

It's a hospital by hospital thing. Definitely helps to spend some time at a place like Shriner's or Scottish Rite during residency or post-grad to get the nuances of it. A collaborative nature in regards to ortho can also help. Ortho definitely dominates due to traditional referral patterns.
