you have to be careful nowadays about these lab staff and hospital staff. a lot of them are jealous of doctors, so if you do even a minor mistake--like take a little bit of money after bringing in millions for the university--they report you and try to ruin you. if you are a med student, this can really be bad. and with title IX and me too, these jealous staff have an even easier time. I've heard a lot of stories of jealous nurses, lab techs and those kinds of people trying to ruin the lives of doctors.
