UChicago

They have some of the most inconsiderate leadership I have ever met in neurosurgery. Toxic chair and PD, they have no respect for others. Some senior faculty are very condescending. The residents were oddly malignant. Didn't seem too friendly. If they treat you poor in an interview, imagine how they will treat you during residency. Run far far away. I am so glad that I matched somewhere else.

Place is a joke. How long have they had an interim chair? How many cases there? #5 program in Chicago, at best.
NW/Rush>Loyola>UIC>UofC better than SIU and Peoria, maybe?

I interviewed at UChicago recently. I agree with the sentiments.
