2024 Programs review
#61
at my program our pgy6 worked all throughout her pregnancy until she literally went into labor. granted we had her cover cases where she could sit or quick and easy discs/decompressive lamis, but she still showed up and took care of a bunch of bs.

Easier as a pgy6, and like you said she took the easier cases. In our case she was a pgy3 so it took a lot of extra effort from her co-residents to fill the void while she was out

What is the operative volume at Cornell and are the residents well trained surgically?

Anyone know the vibe at any of the Texas programs like UT SW or UT Houston?

Contact the program's alumni (residents and students) where you would like to get in. They will provide a more accurate representation of the department's culture. I did it, and that saved me from programs that promised heaven but were actually hell.
