An up-and-coming neurosurgeon is appointed as chair. If the Dean, CEO, and staff are all supportive no one else really matters. This is a Stanford, Hopkins, USC, and Buffalo trained neurosurgeon who by all accounts does right by his patients and is giving back to our specialty. Time to back off the criticism and emphasize the positives.

this is good, all the UCs need young blood. now they are going to get a heavy hitter in spine too.
