Zadeh coming as chair but spinner to stay on staf. Quinones becoming chair of research but will stay at Mayo Jacksonville. A new chair will be named though. All of the Mayo leadership positions are term limited, so it’s not like these people are being fired, they’re just at the end of their terms.

If Carter's leaving is true, is that the fallout from the forced MGH/Brigham merger? That would mean Chiocca won out. Does anyone think Carter regrets leaving UCSD at this point?

Yes, absolutely fallout. Plus likely loss of residents in the combined program, multiple faculty departures from both MGH and Brigham already, and more departures to come.
