Don’t even need to piss them off. If Medicare fraud is the issue (eg. Billing for more than 2 concurrent rooms), the whistleblower pay offs can be significant.

Can anyone explain to me how that's fraud? I understand not being present at all or even being abroad while operating under your name is BS, but if they're there for the critical portions of the surgery, what's fraudulent about running multiple rooms? Multiple studies out there show similar outcomes. Why force senior surgeons to drape while residents lose autonomy?

Dentists routinely "run" numerous concurrent procedural encounters and nobody bats an eye. Since they're not likely to start cleaning teeth themselves anytime soon, I recommend we look to them for wisdom.

Dentists are pp and they choose their own staff. Work in academic and you are surrounded by JEALOUS inter-sectional trans LGBTIQCAPGNGFNBA feminists looking to take you down (especially if you are of a certain race and gender).

People put up with academic bs for the sake of research and advancing the field. But you can only bear so much.

You can be as right as you want, no one will listen if you pack your message into a pitty jab against social movements, however extreme they may seem to you

You sound like you're projecting a lot, man. Nothing to do with this thread, go deal with your issues somewhere else

did anyone answer this question?  Is he fired?  Should I not rank Rutgers after interviewing there?  How long will it take to get a new chair if he is out?

My main takeaway from this season's interviews (courtesy of a senior resident at well-known program):

The program you start at is not the program you finish at. Attendings shuffle. Be wary of programs primarily based on the reputation/excellence of one or two faculty members.

I received the advice to DNR/last rank this place based on someone familiar with the situation
