I don’t understand his bibliography. He did finished surg residency, then did an internship afterwards, followed by neurosurg residency? How do you do an internship after finishing residency lol

Probably the person writing it didn't understand that, back in the day, your internship WAS in general surgery. I read it as gen surg internship then residency elsewhere, which wouldn't have been unusual.
