I worked part time in one of the Columbia labs and didn’t get anything haha

Here > 12 first author including top journals, 2 big grants, and no invite from Columbia.

If it makes people feel better, I've been told by multiple people that they pretty exclusively pick from their home student/sub-Is. So if you didn't get the interview, I don't think it reflects at all on how strong of a candidate you are, but is mostly a reflection of their bias for home/sub-I students. Keep going strong!
