PD said that the average step 1 for interviewed applicants is 249. Out of the 15 I looked through like half had a 260 with all honors and great personalized letters, not just the stock "XYZ did a rotation with us and the residents liked them." Not a chance I'd be able to hang with these kids 4 years ago. Huge props to you because the field will be in great hands!
