I feel like it might be the opposite, most of these programs are small so they might only be interviewing applicants who have the stats/look like the applicants they already have... but overall the invites seem really random

I can't believe he claimed the average Step 1 of the people they invited to interview was 265. That's easily dismissed by looking at the stats from last year lol

Thought I was the only one who noticed how ridiculous that was. Only 22 ppl applying nsgy scored >260 that year so either their yield is amazing, there are some 300-ringers out there, or he's full of it

Yeah I hear Miami is otherwise a great program. Great location, lots of clinical experience and research opportunities. Just sad that the PD acts as elitist as he does
