The only selling point used to be Nanda and people went there knowing everything else blows. Now Nanda is gone and nothing left there except suffering for 7 years. Look at the poor quality of their residents. Stay away.

Lol!! Another troll. Obviously places get worse when Nanda is there, not out. Idiot!

I think you are biggest fool ever. Nanda who built this program from scratch and was attached to him. Some of their chiefs had 200 in step 1. I don't need to educate you but this program has started in 2003. Barely 20 years old, IDIOT

When you want to punish someone, you make them live in Louisiana for 7 years. Ghetto people of all kinds mingle and multiply like cattle there

One of my classmates matched at this program a few years back. One of the few times I’ve seen a grown man cry. He almost didn’t pick up the phone when he saw the unknown # from Shreveport area.

Location aside, the program itself is solid in terms of autonomy, familiarity and comfort level with bread and butter neurosurgical cases. The chair and PD are also genuinely good people and are invested in the residents. I think it’s a good fit for people from the south who are coming in with families. If you’re a east/west coast type who is single then you probably will be miserable.
