UCLA vs. USC vs. Cedars
#21
Biggest real issue with Kaiser seems to be that you are incentived to not operate since it’s an MCO and surgery is a big financial hit on their bottom line

^^^ I think you mean to say, Kaiser follows evidence-based guidelines -- unlike you.

Evidence supports a wide range of practices, so Kaiser picks the cheapest route.

You mean to say, Kaiser doesn't do fusions for mild lower back pain?

TLDR seems to be:
UCLA: Second rate institution scumming cases from third rate MCO
USC: Former second rate institution on its way to becoming a fourth rate institution
Cedars: So irrelevant that nobody cares enough to throw shade

^USC is better than UCLA. The fuck you talking about? Sounds like a UCLA resident on copium.

I would imagine your career path would be just fine coming out of either UCLA or USC… Cedars is probably fine to teach you the overwhelming majority of cases you would come across in private practice as well. We like to blow everything way out of proportion on this site…
