UCLA vs. USC vs. Cedars
#31
Watching the USC residents try to knock UCLA while USC circles the drain is amusing. Pretty soon USC will be equivalent to Loma Linda and Mayo Az.

With the 70 hour work week restriction on the horizon, all of the programs seem like they are circling the drain to me.

Research has also shown that being shitty at your job leads to medical errors. You're going to make mistakes gaining experience no matter what, but we are taking away the safety net of senior supervision. Now people are going to make a greater fraction of those errors during their first years of practice

Outrageous that you would put Mayo AZ in the same tier as Loma Linda. Please rectify.

Same thing will happen with 70 hours as with 80 hours: lying on time sheets

How come programs like Mayo, Barrow, Yale and MGH produce fine surgeons without exceeding 70 hours??
