lol all yall acting like someone’s a stud on this forum when in reality your boy is gonna be an intern like everyone else getting roughed up by the hospital, making those intern mistakes that the icu nurses help you learn from, having those weird places EVDs, taking a million stabs at a lumbar drain and all that stuff. To those that matched, congrats, but stop wasting your time and energy focusing on where certain people matched and if they “deserved it”. Once you match, it’s a new ballgame. Make the best of the opportunity you have in front of you. It’ll all work out just fine.
this is the most schizo thread ive seen on this forum
Completely agree. ^^ You all are such immature, insufferable people.
Gossiping about future colleagues who have successfully matched at fantastic programs. The incessant obsession over numbers. Somehow knowing (?) and openly discussing people's board scores (private information). The sexism. Holy moly.
These comments are completely unbecoming of future applicants to a field that demands excellence for patients. Newsflash: 100+ publications and 260+ step isn't going to compensate for your lack of professionalism and glaring psychopathology. Truly shameful.
Future readers: If you find yourself resonating with the comments here -- do everyone a solid and find a non-patient-facing specialty in medicine.
no wonder neurosurgery only has like 20% female residents
I know your trolling, but you’re so embarrassing
