best program in MO...from what I've heard, collegial...work hard, play hard. zipfel is a good chair, and excellent new faculty hires.

The best sub-I experience I've had this year by far. Great culture, early operative experience. Hours are tough but rewarding.

Easily a sleeper program. Top tier research and technically gifted attendings. Had a great time there, love the interns and juniors.

WashU is fantastic. Great faculty, generally on the frontlines in terms of providing the latest surgeries, good research if u care about that, and the high volumes that come with most of the Midwest programs. There’s a reason Lenke spent much of his career there

this is the place where top tier people go to die. i dont think anybody who matches here other than home people are actually placing this place as number one. im not saying you wont be a good surgeon but to act like its a diamond compared to desirable programs is a bit silly. if you actually like st louis and have ties there, go for it.
