"Dear Program,

Due to the large number of rejections I have received, I am unable to accept your letter of rejection. I will be attending your interview date on 11/4. I look forward to meeting you!

For realz, I feel all the interviews are going to the same 50 people. You’re all the same: ~250, elite med schools or md phds, and padded fluff for research. I wish someone would have told me that before this started

I wish someone would have informed you that you don’t deserve an interview just because you exist. These people tried hard and are getting interviews because they’re good candidates, not because of some divine intercention. 

If you want fairness, go match in another discipline. What did you expect from neurosurgery?
