Hypothetical
#1
Hi if one applied to all the programs and had 252 on both steps and 6 non basic science pubs(none first author), 80% honors during clinicals. And pretty good LORs; how many invites would one expect to get in total?

I appreciate it.

In total is hard to guess because it depends on much more than what you just presented

I wouldn't be surprised if you came back and said you got between 20-30 interviews

What other info do you need?

20-30 being more or less than expected?

Other info such as where you go to medical school, who wrote your letters, specifics about your research experience, personal attributes, etc.

I think the responder was saying that given just those raw numbers 20-30 interviews would be about what is expected.

How many interviews would I get if a applied everywhere?
Top 35 med school w/ a home program
Pre-Clinicals; pass/fail: all pass
Clinicals; honors/pass/fail: 85% honors, the rest is pass
Step 1: 253
Step 2: 254
Published Manuscripts: 7;1 first author, all clinical research based
Poster presentations/talks: 4 at mid level conferences

Your application isn't the problem you'll likely get plenty of interviews. Your neuroticism and complete lack of self awareness is another story.
