Not neurosurgery. If you want to do biotech, do biotech. Why half-ass either one? Your faculty and co-residents will hate you for it.

You make your own opportunities. There isn't any program that has this built in.
Likewise, as another poster suggested, you are there to learn neurosurgery.

UWash, Northwestern, and Pitt come to mind for tech in general. The big endovascular places obviously do a lot of device development too.

there are some real innovators on UCSF and Hopkins faculty, at least one comes to mind.
