This forum has so much potential to be genuinely helpful, but is instead filled with trolls and spam. Is it possible to require an account to post, so that people can be held marginally accountable for the things they say here?

Says a person without an account. It’s a decent idea, although there are benefits to anonymous posts, it comes with trolls. If you want a forum that requires accounts then go ahead and make it. How about “Neurosurgery Infinity”?
