Damn, my school offers BLS recert in late April. I want to apply ASAP. Is it worth going rogue and getting your own BLS recert at another facility to expedite the application?

I would email Xavier Torres at Xavier.Torres@DignityHealth.org and let her know about your concerns. She is the Student Affairs Coordinator at Creighton University, but deals with BNI VSAS applications

I believe if your school shows proof that you are scheduled for BLS you should be fine. Shouldn't hold up your application.
