Medical students M1-M4 (including those that matched in neurosurgery this year) interested in or transitioning to a career in neurosurgery, as well as FMGs planning to apply to US neurosurgery programs, we are conducting a study on how COVID-19 pandemic affecting you

Lol that reaction is hilarious.

On a separate note, it is kind of annoying how everyone in neurosurgery is trying to capitalize on Covid-19, with papers filled with platitudes and no substance.

No actual talk of hazard pay, student loans etc.

Agree. A bunch of fluffy editorials in red/white journals from big-name institutions about how we need to "stick together". Got it, thanks. How about the private practice surgeons who need to keep paying staff without doing cases?

There has been some truly helpful stuff coming out of the speciality sections about triaging cases, doing endonasal procedures, etc.
