Nsg applicant town hall
#1
Can get this info from your program coordinator
Quote:Dr. Lola Chambless, PD of Vanderbilt Neurosurgery, will be leading a new program for the CNS that involves virtual town hall sessions with the first one on Thursday 4/30 at 8PM EST for a med student audience.  This will include going over the issues of subI scheduling, rotation concerns, potential changes to the match process, etc.
I don't have the flier yet but should have it in the next few days. We really want to get all med students applying to neurosurgery this year as well as program coordinators to attend.  Please spread the word and detailed information is coming soon.

Yes, can someone post the info here? So we all do not have to email program coordinator for it? At least I never get any from my nes home program

An official flier will be distributed soon. Would encourage all not to click random Zoom links they find on message boards

Hi all, please check out the info below.

Hello,
The CNS Town Hall information is listed below to send to your medical students. We were just informed that this is a members only event and medical students will need to submit an application per the instructions below before Thursday afternoon. Administrators will be sent a separate link and password for access to the Town Hall and that will be sent out as soon as received.

Sorry for all the last minute “to do” things.

Regarding the medical students:
- If they are already CNS members, they have automatic access.
- If they are not CNS members, they should submit an application and we will do a quick-approval to activate their accounts before Thursday.
There is a requirement for a letter from their dean or registrar, but they can turn that in to us later. For now, just submit the basic application requirements.
They can go here:
