^ they get hated on by everyone on here so clearly they must be doing something right. Tho the 3- to 4-on-1 format has been terrible this year. Impossible to establish rapport or have a meaningful conversation with any one person

Agree and agree. I don't get the MGH hate (they didn't interview me so screw them for only that reason lol, but seems like a ton of well known and productive faculty members around the country trained there). But I've hated interviews when it was more than 2 people. 2 or fewer lets you have a bit more meaningful conversations
