Step Cut offs

BWhat are the general consensus for cutoff for 
1) Having to take Step 2 early to make up for step 1.  What score necessitates making up for with Step 2?
2) A score where it's not worth it to apply regardless of your other metrics
3) A score where no one will give any interviews
4) Can research, letters, and 3rd year mitigate scores in a certain range
5) Scores that get screened regardless

1) 225 for sure. Likely 230.
2) Occasionally a student from a top pedigree medical school with research will match at sub 210.
3) 225-230 or less will drop interview rate dramatically.
4) Yes, 230-245
5) Not sure what you are asking.

M1 here. I have no experience, nor do I know what I'm talking about, but that seems about right. He's prob an M1 too^ lol. I doubt there's any real answers to these questions.
