Starting research NOVEMBER MS1??
#1
I wanted to start research at beginning of MS1. But the surgeon I am talking is too busy to meet with me, so we are going to start November and possibly December.

What do you guys think of that? Do you think he'll be too busy for me? I send him my resume and he wants me to work with him but he keeps on kicking back the date. Is this a red flag? Am I missing out on research time?

Thank you everyone!

If you’re looking to do clinical research, a good strategy is totally find a prolific resident to work with.

Thanks a lot, but I don't have a NS residency nearby.

Also, does the neurosurgeon you are doing research with matter? Or it is just about the # of publications? Thank you!
