look up NRMP charting outcomes for 2020

17 ranks = 90% chance
20 ranks = 95% chance

Hard to know if that applies for us since class of 2020 had in person interviews and it’s unclear if people attended more last year

With virtual interviewing, less than 20 and you are completely fucked.

Resident here who interviewed virtually last year. This isn’t true. I did <10 interviews and matched very well. It’s the quality of your interview that really matters.
