any particular recommendations for which greenberg chapters to focus on when prepping for an away? Ive heard trauma (GCS etc..) and cerebrovascular (hunt hess, fisher) are big ones.

The whole section on subarachnoid hemorrhage is very high yield for rotations.
The later section of differential diagnoses based on lesion location and MRI findings... being able to give a decent list of differential is a quick way to make you look like you know what you are talking about. The anatomy section at the front, (particularly the vascular section) ... among the most common questions thrown out to students is anatomy... "what is THAT vessel?" or "what nerve is just above this section of dura" peripheral nerve: myotome and dermatome distributions to know what to expect for clinical findings with spinal pathology (not know this quickly makes you look bad) |
