IMGs trying to get sub-Is are really hard right now because of Covid that's halted a lot of global partnership programs. Generally, east coast and midwest are friendlier than the west coast. Programs like UIC, UNC Chapel hill, Yale, and Mayo are open to all IMGs right now. Some programs like Northwestern and Hopkins are open to a handful of international schools they have partnerships with. As an IMG, it's best to rotate during the off season (November - May) because the rest of the months the hospitals have a duty to accommodate American students doing their sub-Is.
