the two away rotations I had applied for, I was just recently rejected from. I am now trying to figure out which programs have spots still available, any advice?

Go through VSAS and see if any places still have open deadlines. If those institutions are not appealing to you, write down a list of places that you'd like to target and start cold-calling the subI coordinators to check for openings.

Word of warning, the popular subIs (MGH, Barrow, UCSF, UW, Hopkins, Pitt, etc.) will have most of their spots already filled. If you're looking for July/August time slots (the most sought after), I'd pick a mid-tier program and hope for the best.
