The CNS skull base fellows course (held at case western every year) and the North American skull base course are both great

I’d recommend any course with live surgery, seeing a complex case from start to finish is highly educational. Ali Krisht and Lawton both have courses that include live surgery that are great.

There's something to be said to allotting a period of time for dedicated and focused study. Other specific topic. Yes, you could get a substantial amount of education out of watching an equivalent number of videos over 1 to 2 days, but are you going to be doing that instead of going to the course? Plus there are obviously other uses such as networking and just being away from the hospital for a while.

Counterpoint to the networking is that you could probably achieve the same or better via Twitter. I honestly think the cost of the courses are outrageous, especially considering them on a resident salary |
