What content can we review before we start? Radiology? Neurocrit?

Be 100% honest with your team on what you know, what you did and did not do, keep a positive mindset.

Rhotons, Neurosurgery explained, and carry ur Greenberg with u to look things up as you go. Otherwise be organized and time efficient. It will come.

Doing an accurate and thorough neurologic exam that they can trust and then communicating it efficiently is probably about 50% of the battle.

That's probably one of the more important stuff. Detailed and relevant history and physical exam along with communication. Credibility, honesty and commitment. Knowledge will come with time if you have those attributes.

Dont be the kind of intern that needs to be told something more than once - maybe twice in rare circumstances. Retain info and be reliable.

Your neuro exam is your personal signature and will define you from the start…make it accurate and reliable and people will trust you immediately
