So I got a 240 on step 1 and recently got a 268 on step 2. Does this score make my step 1 no issue anymore or will it still hold me back ?

Most likely fine assuming everything else is good. Could be hurt if you don’t have a home program or deficient in research.

You might get asked what happened on step one. As long as you have some reasonable answer and frame it as you learned to study better for step 2 you will be okay. Still might be screened from some top programs
