Any thoughts on Montefiore/Einstein? Figured I'd revive this thread because I hear so much about the other NYC programs but not as much about Monte.

Unlike other troll posts about the NYC programs, tread carefully at Montefiore/Einstein. Known for having shit admin and being rife w/ malignancy in most departments. Patients are also generally poor and very sick.

I heard the residency provides a great operative experience although some rumors of the department being malignant. Going uphill interns of academics. Lots of potential with Einstein's medical school and Eskander as chair. The patient population can be good or bad depending on how you look at it.
