Does CNS reimburse you if you get invited as a faculty? Or this is just considered an honor and you/your department has to pay for it?

You pay. No break on registration even. None of the major ones (AANS CNS SNS) reimburse to my knowledge for speaker or faculty roles. Not mine at least. Maybe for special rewards and certainly they pay keynote speakers.
