Here’s the deal with Stanford (AMA)

^Heard this also. What is the plan to stop the brain drain before you end up mid tier?

Our program director moved to Duke to become the chairman there. He still comes back to Palo Alto every two weeks because his family is here and he still has meetings with us while he’s here.

How does a DO get into a top NS program like MGH, Barrow, USCF, Stanford, etc? What steps do you take?

Thank you

OP do you always feel inferior to UCSF residents? With them being so much more highly regarded and overall better at what they do. They’re so close by, I’m sure you’ve drove past before and wondered

Wow what a bunch of assholes you are…

OP is trying to make a fool out of everyone, but in the end, he is just making a fool out of himself.

He is basically ignoring all of the questions. This pompous fool thinks that by regurgitating information widely available on the Stanford NS website, he will convince everyone that Stanford is a top program.

Instead, everyone can just see right through him, because anyone with an ounce of intelligence can see that he is just deflecting and virtue-signaling ("more diversity") and mostly just ignoring anything remotely controversial.

What is the point of this? It just makes a program look even worse.

Just imagine, 7 years of neurosurgery training, 4 years of medical school, 4 years of college, and maybe even a PhD thrown in for good measure, and you end up like this. SAD
