Step 2 CK scores for interviews

So you claim that he has "research prowess" but doesn't do much publishing. It's not difficult for senior residents to get involved in biotech. Biotech actively seeks such people.

What about junior residents? Are they afforded such opportunities?

Research is more than just publishing buddy. Rolle is unique in that he's a juggernaught in both bench/clinical research and biotech work.

^Lol, no point in arguing with you bud. I've asked several times for tangible evidence of scholarly work and you repeatedly present vague, unsupported claims like he's a "juggernaut" with "research prowess." You can't be a PGY-7 with less than 30 papers and claim to be a "juggernaut."

Both of you two are idiots. Just respect his achievements. Anyone who can match neurosurgery at MGH is obviously a stellar applicant in their own regard. Rolle may not be a top tier researcher, but he brings plenty else to the table

Why are you people so obsessed with publications? Using that same logic, we say that top engineers at Google, OpenAI, Microsoft etc are no good, and are not contributing, because they don't publish?

Rolle did contribute to NS research, but he does it though industry, which doesn't lead to publications. He explains all this in his book.

Exactly. Great book to read btw

Lol at comparing Rolle to top engineers at Google. I bet you Rolle doesn't do jack in his industry position. You'd think that a juggernaut like Rolle would be making waves in academics as well the way you describe him.

Since when did industry sponsored research not be published?

Rolle will arguably be the most accomplished neurosurgeon of all time at this point in his career when he graduates later this year. Oxford, NFL, and MGH are all top 1% accomplishments that people work their whole lives to achieve one of. All this arguing won’t change this fact. Maybe take some tips from him from his book instead and learn something
